Video Streaming Coordinator
Buckeye CableSystem is excited to announce an opening at BCSN, Your Eye on Local Sports, for a part-time (20 hrs/week) Video Streaming Coordinator (VSC). The VSC is responsible for the maintenance of BCSN’s video streaming page & database. The VSC also communicates with other BCS departments to assist in the troubleshooting, scheduling and implementation of the video streaming system. The VSC also manages the overall appearance, accuracy and content of BCSN’s website in conjunction with the needs of the station and its promotions, advertising sales, productions and special event.
Minimum Requirements include a Associate Degree in Web Design, 2 yrs prior web design exp, Microsoft Office proficiency, prior HTML, Adobe Dream Weaver or other web design programs and PhotoShop. Preferred requirements include Flash and web database programming. Service Technician
Buckeye CableSystem has partnered with Renhill Staffing for direct hire/no fee positions and is accepting applications for full-time Service Technicians (ST). The ST’s primary responsibility is to run service calls from in the house to the first amplifier in the run. The ST is required to demonstrate a positive demeanor to the general public and subscribers, conveying the Company and its services in a positive light and perform correct hook-up of in-house cable, customer equipment and other special assignments as needed.
Minimum Requirements include High School diploma/equivalent, 1 yr prior practical work exp in CATV system maintenance, 1 yr prior electronics exp, and 1 yr computer networking exp. Other requirements include acceptable driving record, ability to lift 70 lbs, and ability to climb poles and use gaffs. Background check and drug screen/physical are required.

Technical Support Specialist
Buckeye CableSystem has partnered with Renhill Staffing for direct hire/no fee positions and has an immediate need for part-time Technical Support (TSS) for Internet, Video, and phone services. This person must be detail orientated, have creative thinking, excellent troubleshooting skills, and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting incoming calls from customers that are experiencing problems with Internet, Video, and Phone services. (Having Macintosh experience would be a plus.) Providing our customers with excellent service is a must.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma/equivalent, ability to install and configure PC network cards, background in using Windows and Internet Tools, A+ certification preferred, and background checks that meet Company standards. Background check and drug screen/physical required. Starting pay is $13.90/hour.
